Review of fox chicago news::Hee Haw Honeys?

Review of fox chicago news::Hee Haw Honeys?

    What               a               number!

250               arrests               for               one               Chicago               man.

Some               may               see               this               as               a               shame,               but               apparently               the               man               is               going               for               a               record               to               be               number               1               in               the               Guinness               Book               of               World               Records.

The               only               thing               is,               however,               the               Guinness               Book               of               World               Records               only               records               feats               in               the               measure               of               fastest,               longest,               largest               or               smallest,               but               not               most               apparently.

Perhaps               this               Chicago               criminal               will               therefore               set               two               records.

One               being               his               own               tally               of               arrests,               while               the               other               being               the               implementation               of               another               measure               of               recording.

Of               course,               this               wasn't               the               initial               goal,               but               as               the               numbers               have               grown,               why               look               back?

Reports               from               sources               like               ThinkTaylor               of               therandomforest.com               and               the               MyFoxnewsstation               stated               that               a               Chicago               man               was               arrested               for               trespassing               at               O'Hare               Airport               in               Chicago               while               apparently               trying               to               solicit               services               for               money.

Upon               his               court               date,               everyone               was               surprised               to               see               so               many               arrests               under               the               man's               belt.

The               bigger               question,               however,               is               how               has               this               number               been               achieved?

Perhaps               it's               not               so               much               the               man's               fault               as               it               is               the               judicial               system.
Even               though               the               batch               of               charges               against               the               man               have               been               minor               offenses,               a               collected               amount               would               almost               guarantee               anyone               some               substantial               jail               time.

Particularly               if               the               criminal               is               a               repeat               offender               of               the               same               crime.

    Trespassing               in               an               airport!

I               guess               not               for               this               man.

It               seems               that               he               has               been               able               to               slip               through               the               cracks               of               the               judicial               system               at               least               250               times.
The               Chicago               crook               is               53               years               old,               so               he               has               had               a               significant               amount               of               time               to               build               his               portfolio               of               arrests,               but               again,               who               lets               a               person               go               through               250               arrests               without               major               consequences?

Surely               it               has               proved               to               be               a               joke               for               the               man,               as               he               continues               his               reign               of               terror               on               society,               with               the               knowledge               that               there               will               be               minimal               penalty.

Every               state               has               some               form               of               judicial               practice               for               repeat               offenders               and               it               typically               involves               substantial               jail               time.

This               is               to               deter               the               criminal               from               continuing               his               spree               of               criminal               acts               and               also               keeps               him               off               of               the               streets               and               decreases               the               crime               rate.

    At               least               in               society!
In               many               states               there               is               the               3-strike               rule.

This               is               a               law               that               mainly               affects               criminals               who               are               arrested               for               felony               crimes.

So,               in               the               case               of               the               53-year-old               man               who               commits               mostly               misdemeanors,               the               three               strike               rule               may               not               apply.

However,               there               are               laws               for               repeat               offenders               of               any               particular               crime,               that               may               not               necessarily               mandate               a               life               sentence,               which               is               what               the               three-strike               rule               incorporates,               but               a               judge               who               sees               a               history               of               crime               of               the               same               or               similar               offense               will               typically               sentence               a               criminal               accordingly.
There               is               nothing               accordingly               done               about               250               arrests,               which               is               what               the               baffling               part               is,               as               many               people               would               say               that               there               should               be               no               reason               or               possibility               for               a               person               to               be               able               to               commit               that               many               crimes.

It               is               for               reasons               like               this               that               the               judicial               system               cracks               down               on               criminals               who               seem               not               to               care               about               anything.

In               the               case               of               this               man               with               250               arrests,               the               motivation               here               seems               to               be               monetary.
Apparently               a               normal               job               doesn't               suffice               and,               with               so               many               offenses,               who               will               actually               hire               him?

It's               a               catch-22               in               this               case,               and               therefore               almost               a               guarantee               that               the               criminal               will               return               to               what               he               knows               best:               illegal               activity!

The               scary               thing               is               that               there               is               a               potential               for               crimes               of               much               more               aggression               and               violence               by               this               man;               if               the               judicial               system               perhaps               had               jailed               him               early               on               and               even               offered               something               like               a               work               release               program,               there               would               be               little               to               no               chance               for               the               motivation               for               this               man               to               return               to               a               life               of               crime.

Will               the               250-arrests               man               make               it?

Will               he               reach               his               goal               as               the               first               in               the               Guinness               Book               of               World               Records               for               the               most               arrests?
